I don't know if it's only because the site is in the midst of updating or not, but someone just posted a bug report for the exporter on the Photosynth forums and I can duplicate their error message.

Yup, the Photosynth webservice had been updated and the exporter didn't like it. Version 1.0.2 should fix that.

Thank goodness you're on top of it Christoph............I've spent weeks learning how to convert point clouds to polygons.....just about to do some serious stuff....and the exporter stopped working. I was not happy.
